آزمون قیاسهای میلر
There are two common graduate admissions tests used today: the Graduate Record Examination and the Miller Analogies Test.
Miller Analogies Test
The Miller Analogies Test (MAT), published by Pearson Assessments, is another test used for the selection of graduate students.
In an older meta-analysis study of the MAT (Kuncel, Hezlett, & Ones, 2004), the instrument was shown to be a valid predictor not only of academic variables such as graduate school grades and time taken to finish a graduate degree but also of vocational and career criteria.
As with the GRE, norms among graduate students in different institutions and different departments vary widely, and knowledge of normative data in relevant comparison groups (provided in the MAT manual) is a necessity if predictive information based on the scores is to have any value.
